Sustainable Disposables “Putting on The Ritz” at The Grand Amsterdam
This weekend Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam celebrated that the long awaited summer is finally here. Fête de la Musique, is their annual celebration of the start of the summer took place in the lovely inner garden of one of Amsterdam’s most luxurious hotels, The Grand. The festivities was organized in close collaboration with Sopexa Benelux and the French Ministry of Agriculture.
Kwast Wijnkopers provided the wines and figurative painter Erik Renssen from the Reneen Art Gallery organized a vernissage in the lobby with work inspired by Pablo Picasso. Throughout the event live music filled the venues.
Another reason for celebration was the Grand Départ of Le Tour de France that took place in Utrecht, The Netherlands this year.
In honor of one of the biggest cycling events of the year restaurant Bridges will offer a tasty Tour De France menu especially put together for the coming two weeks as the race is ongoing.
During the celebrations at The Grand the guests got a delicious preview of some of the items on the menu, composted and created by Chef de Cuisine Bobby Rust.
