Shot in Hawaii, USA (Oahu and Big Island), PLASTIC POLLUTION, OUR OCEANS, OUR FUTURE champions two UN Sustainable Development Goals: "Responsible Consumption and Production" and "Life Below Water." The film follows 17 middle school students from Hawaii who envision a sustainable future for the world's oceans as their island contemplates joining over 60 locations in the United States in banning the sale and distribution of single-use polystyrene ("Styrofoam.")
We all must continue to explore numerous solutions to stop plastic pollution.
