The northern part of Amsterdam at the north shore of the “IJ” the old Stork building became the new hotspot for creative entrepreneurs
The area now is called “The Overkant” which means the other side which reveres to the fact it not only overlooks the Passenger Terminal and central station of Amsterdam it also is right across the center.
With it’s industrial history and character “The Overkant” became a unique place where work, culture, leisure and hospitality come together. The terrain is almost 35,000 square meters and measuring over 28,000 m² gross floor area, spread over six buildings.
We have just moved our headquarters into one of the offices at the shore side overlooking the cruise boats which turn around literally in the front of the door.
SD Trading became neighbors of the well-known international Hotel booking site hoteliers.com and the famous Amsterdam restaurant Stork,  so we are truly in the middle of good company.
